VMS has lots of sports action tonight! The VMS Boys and Girls Track and Field teams will travel to Independence for the WAMAC Conference Meet at 4:15 pm. The VMS Girls and Boys Soccer teams will take on Mount Vernon at the Marion Stadium (Girls at 4:15 pm and Boys at 5:30 pm).

The VMS Band Concerts will take place this evening at the new Marion Performing Arts Center. The 5th and 6th Grade Bands perform at 6:00 pm and the 7th and 8th Grade Bands perform at 7:00 pm. Good luck to our Vernon musicians!

Members of the Marion Boys' Soccer Team came to play at recess with our K-2 students today. The idea was led by one of our former students and current member of the boys' soccer team who made a plan, reached out to Mrs. Harmer, and organized the day.
