Attention Seniors ! ! !

Our MISD librarians are encouraging our students to keep reading over the summer! The Marion Summer Library Program is a great way to have fun and keep learning over the summer. The program starts on June 3rd.

Students attended the annual Hospitality Day event at The Kirkwood Hotel. This event featured culinary and hospitality management program graduates, banquet space and hotel tours, panel lectures with industry professionals, and tastings of various chocolates and Italian vs local prosciutto. Students then toured a local business owned by a kirkwood graduate called The Hangry Lady in Newbo market. Student also tried ice cream from another local business, Almost Famous Popcorn Company.

Spanish 2 students completed their Thumbprint stories describing daily routines in Spanish.

Congratulations to the Marion High School senior class earners of the Iowa State Seal of Biliteracy. This is our largest group we've had to date, and they worked so hard to earn this achievement. ¡Enhorabuena! Félicitations!

Madison Gustafson is headed to William Penn University to double major in psychology and human services, while also continuing to play volleyball! 📚🏐 She fondly remembers prom and all the fun she had with her friends. “Shout out to my mother and awesome support system,” she says. Congratulations to Madilyn Samuelson, a member of our Class of 2024! 🎓🌟 During her time at MISD, Madilyn will never forget about the opportunities she had to participate in hands-on activities with her peers. Congratulations to the Class of 2024! 🎓🌟 Madison Crawford’s fondest memories at MISD all revolve around getting to participate in school events, like football games, dances, & extracurricular activities, with friends. She plans to attend college this fall & study photography.
