The Marion Music Boosters provides assistance and support to the Marion High School band and choir directors, their programs and the students participating in these programs. They also promote involvement in the music programs.
Communication with members is primarily through our monthly meetings and via email. Opportunities are available to assist the music programs by working concessions, chaperoning, and helping at events, concerts, contests, and other activities. Emails offering these volunteer opportunities are sent out on a regular basis.
The Music Boosters maintain a point system where students and/or their parents may earn points through their volunteer work. These points than help offset the student’s cost of participating in the major trips the music department plans every other year.
