They are great examples of leaders and exemplify kindness at Longfellow. #lesinspire #misdinspire

It’s never too early to start reading with your child! 📚
Reading is an important skill, whether you’re in preschool or high school. A strong foundation in reading sets you up for success for the rest of your life! 🚀

Ms. Jenni's class learned about the letter N this week. They played a game by looking for the letter N on nut pictures. If it was a letter other than N they would say, "Oh nuts!" #lesinspire #misdinspirr
During Extra PE with Mr. Meth, students had fun putting scarves in front of the big fan and watching them fly, then chasing them down to do it all over again! #lesinspire #misdinspire
How do good readers get to be good readers? By READING, of course! 🤓 The second graders practice reading every day. Many days they will partner read. Partners are a great way to hear someone else reading with good expression and also provide help when you encounter a tricky word you don’t know. #2headsarebetterthan1
If you need a fun idea this weekend, try partner reading with your student. Grab a book, a comfy spot, and take turns delighting in the story! 📚😊#lesinspire #misdinspire
Preschool visited the Marion Public Library Friday! They learned about what the library does, what they can find in the library, and so much more! Students also got to listen to one of the librarians read and decorate a turkey. #lesinspire #misdinspire
