VMS Velocity Show Choir wraps up their season tomorrow at 7pm at MHS, followed by a performance by MHS New Creation Show Choir. Velocity placed 4th at CR Washington, 3rd at Marion and 3rd at CR Jefferson. Slater C. was awarded Best Male Soloist at both Marion and CR Jefferson!

The Vernon Show Choir and Jazz Band toured our MISD elementary schools on the last day of school before Spring Break. Their performances were greatly enjoyed by staff and students at Longfellow Elementary, Starry Elementary and Francis Marion Intermediate. Great work, musicians!


Congratulations to the seven Vernon 5th and 6th Grade students who participated in the Young Musicians Honor Band last month. They rehearsed under the direction of talented guest conductors and presented a wonderful concert at Prairie High School.
