August 12th Report to the School Board: The new Parkview Elementary building will be ready for students on the first day of school. City inspections have been completed and permits issued, final cleaning is underway, teachers are setting up classrooms, and city street work is nearly complete for the routes to and from the school. Final architectural inspection is underway. #MISDOwnYourFuture #MISDinspire

✨ We welcome Scott Wittstruck as a new teacher to Vernon Middle School!
Scott lives in Marion with his wife and two daughters, both of whom attend MHS. He graduated from Grinnell College in 1993 and earned his teaching degree at Iowa in 2001.
Scott says, "I am excited to take on a new step in my career!"

Our MISD Summer Meals Program is still going strong! 🍏 Families with children 18 and under can visit Starry Elementary Monday-Friday for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast is from 8:30 to 9:30am and lunch is from 11:30am to 1:00pm. We welcome ALL families, so feel free to stop by!
