We’d like to shine the spotlight on Joe Fontenot, who has dedicated 30 years to MISD! 🎉 He spent 24 years teaching 3rd–4th grade PE/Health at FMI, 6 years teaching K–2 PE/Health at Starry Elementary, 4 years teaching 8th–12th grade PE/Health at Marion High School, and 1 year teaching PE/Health at Vernon Middle School.

With deep ties to the Marion community, Ann shares, “MISD is truly a tight-knit community. With this in mind, it's the long-standing relationships I’ve built with families that have filled my heart to the brim over the past 32 years. I’m truly lucky to carry these meaningful connections with me as I retire.” Thank you, Ann, for everything you’ve done for MISD. 🎊
