Marion Independent School District

Through a partnership with Monarch Research, Marion Independent School District had the opportunity to participate in the Monarch Research- Planting Forward Program.  As a result, MISD staff are excited to be planting 529 native trees in the surrounding area.  Monarch Research generously provided the trees at no cost to the district or employees, while the district provided employees with training and information about the importance of native trees.  Additionally, in partnership with student, staff, and community volunteer efforts, the district organized the October 8th distribution of trees to an excited and grateful group of staff members.  MISD is appreciative of this partnership!
