Last week was Computer Science Week, and K-2 classrooms celebrated with some fun computer science activities. Kindergarteners did an Art & Algorithms activity. 1st graders made squishy circuits using play-doh, a battery, and an LED bulb. 2nd graders created and programmed robots with the help of the robotics team from the high school.

The 1st graders had a fun trip to the Gallagher Bluedorn Theater in Cedar Falls today to watch a performance of "Giraffes Can't Dance". They even got to eat lunch in the UNI-Dome!
