Starry April Reading Challenge!
Please look in your child's take-home folder for information on the April Reading Challenge! In the month of April, every time your child reads, or you read to them (10 minutes for Kindergarten, 15 minutes for First Grade, and 20 minutes for Second Grade), they can color an umbrella on the sheet they took home. Once the sheet is filled and all umbrellas are colored, your child will turn it into their classroom teacher and will add a token to a "class jar". At the end of the month, the class with the most tokens in their jar will earn a surprise. There will also be a surprise given to the top 5 students in each grade who turn in the most sheets.
Good luck, Starry!
