Our Marion Mockers competed in the Iowa State High School tournament this past weekend with much success. We had 4 teams that qualified and competed, with one team placing 6th and one team placing 2nd in the tournament. We had several students who were awarded Outstanding Witness or Attorney awards, which is quite an accomplishment!
Outstanding Witness Awards went to Sophia Greco, Rionna Stickley, and John MacDougall.
Outstanding Attorney Awards went to Jeffrey Barta and Isadora Smith.
Team Logos (2nd place): Bryce Weber, Rionna Stickley, Thomas Louzek, Jake Miller, Natalie Ribble, Jessica Ehresman, Abbie Pint, Miriam Riedell, and Olivia Coates.
Team Ethos (6th place): Lydia Bitterman, Jeffrey Barta, Acacia Coates, Dalton Wing, Katy Hawkins, Timothy Dryden, Keely Hanson, Adam Holmberg, and Liam Flecksing.
Team Pathos: John MacDougall, Emily LaGrange, Jenna Barta, Elaynnah and Bryannah Beaman, Mercea Rediger, Michael Tice, and Miranda Holt.
Team Kairos: Ollie Olander, Grace Olander, Sophia Greco, Isadora & Demetrius Smith, Zachariah Sebast, Cayden Schlee, and GiGi Flecksing.
All teams performed extremely well and we are very proud of them!
