Drop-in Advising

Dual enrolled MHSAP students that want to take classes at MHS, Kirkwood, or another post-secondary institution are required to attend an advising session.

Drop-in Advising on Tuesday, January 26 is for MHSAP families that have been through the dual enrollment process and feel comfortable with it.  Please come to these sessions prepared. Sessions are only 10 - 15 minutes. These might be in a group depending on how many come for each time slot. Due to the forecasted snow all sessions will be VIRTUAL and will happen even if MISD cancels classes on Tuesday. Register to attend a virtual drop-in advising session here.

We will discuss:
•How to Earn College Credit in High School
•The New High School Class Selection Procedure for 2021-22 School Year
The Marion Independent School District is changing their process for creating and entering classes on a student's transcript. This process is for ALL homeschooled high school students. We will be presenting the new process virtually at the following times: 11:00am, 12:00pm, 2:00pm, and 3:00pm
