FMI kicked off its yearly cookie dough fundraiser last week! They have big goals for the school year and need your help.
The money raised goes to our FMI parent group called Troops. This awesome group helps purchase supplies for classrooms and the building, funds field trips for our classes, provides ice cream treats after track meets, and much more!
Third and fourth grade students have already brought home their packets. Participation in the fundraiser is optional.

FMI students learned about the Constitution yesterday and will continue to do so throughout the week! Some watched a special Liberty's Kids video, read and colored the Preamble, completed word searches about the Constitution, created their own class Constitution, viewed pictures of the original Constitution, while others created Constitution Day books! Thank you to the teachers at FMI for all the awesome activities to help our students learn about Constitution Day!

Did you know? The U.S. Constitution is divided into three sections: the Preamble, the Articles, and the Amendments (including the Bill of Rights). 🇺🇸
Our students are learning about all three sections of the Constitution in celebration of Constitution Week! We’re proud of their commitment to learning about civic engagement and U.S. history.
Yesterday, 3rd and 4th grade TAG students learned about the US Constitution by solving equations that helped them discover various facts about the document! They found out how many people were responsible for signing it, the date it was written, and the age of the oldest author. #MISDinspire #MISDOwnYourFuture
